I guess this is close to it. At 2.37 IEF/JNK ratio, you cut loss when it reaches 2.2 bottom. It's about 7% loss. To the upside, if they behave anything like 2008, let's say the ratio becomes 4, it's 69% gain. Perhaps he initiated the trade earlier, at 2.25 maybe. You could trade only DX contracts and have the same results as commodities, credit spreads or stocks.
